Our goal is to get you out of here.

Since then, I've been on a relentless journey to transform more students like him. I got certified as a teacher, taught in various schools while tutoring on the side, and finally started Big Brain Energy. At Big Brain Energy, my goal is to enable you to become an independent learner who's confident and passionate about Science. With the right tools and timely support, you can achieve more than you think you can. I believe that tuition should be a short-term solution and my main focus is using Science as a vessel to guide students how to learn, become confident and independent. We are therefore the first tuition center that actively strives to get you out of here. (See our Teaching Approach above) So whether you're struggling with the basics or aiming to master advanced concepts, we will walk through this journey together. Nine years ago, my very first student actually fired me after a few months.

If you don't already know, we are big on analytics.

When students first onboard with us, we will evaluate their past performances and their goals before customising a tuition plan.

We use in-house formative assessments, school weighted assessments and major exams to track their progress closely.

This helps us identify learning gaps, which we can close with our responsive curriculum.

More importantly, we help students become analytical yourself. Learn how to ask good questions, think critically and evaluate answers -basically, walk in the shoes of a scientist.

We tap into the power of partnership with parents and keep them abreast with your lesson progress so that they know to celebrate your wins, and encourage you while you are struggling through your learning pits.
